Mothers make the world go round

When the doctor informed me at a young age that I had a speech impediment, my mom was the one who took the bull by the horns and help me overcome that obstacle. When my Dad was traveling for his company, and I was missing the parental figure to play basketball, soccer, etc. with me. When I graduated from college, she was there to celebrate. Now, I turn 41 on May 11. My mother stands beside me again as I face a medical battle that is daunting and haunting to say the least.

However, she is still my biggest fan. This little note is to say Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, Judy Jernigan. You are the best and I could not have survived or thrived without you by my side. We may be apart this holiday. I love you and we will celebrate soon.
